Machining center machining tool and tool change

Machining center machining tool and tool change

Blade Set:

The tool is to determine the machine coordinates of the origin of the workpiece coordinates (programming coordinates) after the workpiece is tightened on the machine tool (determine the X, Y, and Z values of G54).

Tool Change:

According to the process needs, to use different parameters of the tool machining workpiece. The process of replacing the tool as needed in processing is called tool change.

Determination of tool point and tool change point:

Knife point:

The tool point is the reference point used to determine the position of the workpiece coordinate system in the machine coordinate system after the workpiece is found and clamped on the machine.

The tool point can be selected on the workpiece or the clamping positioning element, but the tool point and the workpiece coordinate point must have an accurate, reasonable and simple position correspondence, which is convenient to calculate the position of the workpiece coordinate point on the machine tool (the machine coordinate of the workpiece coordinate point). The tool point Z can coincide with the workpiece coordinate point.

Tool change point: the machining center has a tool library and automatic tool change device, which can automatically change the tool according to the needs of the program. The tool change point should be in the position where there is no collision and interference between the workpiece, fixture, tool and machine tool during the tool change, and the tool change point of the machining center is often fixed.

Knife setting method:

Horizontal tool alignment (x, y coordinates) :

(1) Lever dial indicator tool: the tool point is the center of the cylindrical hole;

(2) Using the edge finder to the knife: round hole or reference edge

(3) Use knife touching or test cutting to set the knife.

Z-direction cutter (z coordinates) :

(1) On the machine tool: use the Z-direction setter to set the tool.

(2) External tool presetting + on-machine tool matching.

(3) External tool setting tool: measuring the diameter, length, blade shape and knife Angle of the tool.

(4) Horizontal machining center multi-station machining tool problem
